This week just flew by Lily was feeling better and so were Mike and I, with more energy to burn and needing to get out of the house we were busy.

Nap time for babies, Lily was telling me about how the blankets have to be just right for nap. 

Washing hands after going to the potty is now a big things Lily knows how to turn the water
on herself and is found washing her hands man more times during the day than she is going potty.

Lily loves the ducks in the cove so when the weather was finally warmer and we were both feeling better we went and walked over to where they like to rest to feed them. It was a lot of fun Lily was so excited to have the ducks coming so close to her and it was great to get some fresh air.

Tuesday we had another baby appointment at the IWK Lily is getting used to the office there, as soon as we went into the small room she immediately looks for the rolling stool to drive around on with daddy. Baby looked great but there was no sign of her showing up yet.

We got creative on Wednesday and broke out the paints, lily had a great time and was very focused on her painting. I need to start making this more of a daily thing as she loves to paint sooo much. Of course by the end of the session we were both covered in paint as well, I am pretty sure Lily thinks we need to be brightened up a bit. 

Lily has been waking up halfway through nap to check and make sure I am still around but then goes back to sleep, although she hasn`t been making it back to her bed every time.

Mike was really disappointed on Thursday when it wasn`t a snow day,  but happily surprised Friday morning to find out that school was cancelled. Although he went to work to catch up on some things, lily was really excited when daddy came home for lunch to play ball with her.

Sunday morning was a lazy one Lily let us sleep in until 8 am it was fantastic, Mike and I actually felt rested after a rough week of Lily not sleeping well. 

Mike made us a yummy breakfast.

 Lily now knows where her Stickers, crayons and book are kept she will go and get them and set herself up with some quite time fun. 

The weather was so nice we went for a nice long walk and Mike decided to take the shortcut through the garden and Lily did some 4 wheeler strolling.

When we came back the weather was so nice that we stayed outside to play. Mike was trying to get rid of some of the water in the driveway and of course lily wanted to splash in the water. She was fascinated by both the water drain and the water running off the roof of the shed.  

last night someone didn`t want to go to sleep. We could hear he talking in her room and look in to find, with her sleep sack off, sucky put away having tea. She sees me take her picture turns and says cheese before going to get me a cup of tea too!

Our friend Candace took our maternity pictures at Shubie park earlier in January and sent us these sneak peaks. We will be picking up the rest of the pictures on Tuesday of this week so there are more to come next Monday!
