Fall

To help welcome fall Lily and I did some pumpkin baking, we made pumpkin squares and pumpkin oatmeal raisin cookies. Lily loved licking the soon and eating the batter I think we were down 3 whole cookies before they even hit the cookie sheets.

Silly Faces

Iris loves to eat, here she is stuffing her face with pasta.

She is growing up to fast pulling up on everything and wanting to stand up to play at all times now.

Lily in her new carseat. I was so excited to see a carseat I had my eyes on go on sale so we could keep Lily rear facing in the car even longer. I am so appreciative of my mommy groups who have taught me the dangers of turning your child forward to early. It looks like we will make our goal of having her rear facing until at least three now!!

Eating again...

Lily once again on the hunt for worms, showing Iris her finds. Iris decided she should help look too.

Lily showing her worms one of  trucks.

Up, down, up, down this is one of Iris' favorite games to play.

You see this I am standing up!!

Lily is now a proficient cutter and will sit and cut paper for 20 minutes at a time. She can now hold the scissors properly and both open and close them with no trouble.

wow what is this cool thing behind the door. Iris is frequently getting herself stuck in Lily's room because she closes the door to get at the door stop. She loves the sound it makes when she pulls it.

I brought the tools up in my toy rotation for the daycare and Lily is having a blast "fixing" things all the time.

Lily loves playing with her alphabet now lining them up and singing her ABC's as she goes. Although the letters are no where near in order she is starting to learn what a few of them are.

Why yes Lily milking the dog is a normal thing to do????

I love watching these to play together Lily mirrors what Iris does and Iris tries to do what Lily is doing. I can see the love and friendship building between them more everyday.

Dinner out and no one caused a scene! Lily was fixated with trying to get the straws out of the paper wrappers. Iris was just a nosey Nellie whipping her head around everywhere to try and see what was going on, at least until the food came.

Taking Halle for a swim down at the walking trail on the Northwest Arm.

Iris' possible train of thought. what's this??Oh look its a baby. hey it's me. I am going to eat this phone.

We went to a great John Deer party for one of Lily's cousin's and a Family member had painted this great mural for the kids to get their pictures taken in.

Checking out the cows, Lily still loves them so.

Oh What no big deal mom just grabbing something to eat.

Cuddles in our awesome ring sling Michelle gave us both Iris and I love it. Thank you again!

The artist at work.

Up and away.

Looking for daddy (who was working at a school dance that night) to read her bedtime stories.

Iris has starting cruising her way up and down the couch and she is so proud of herself.

Mike, the girls and I did our first run for the cure with a team of Mike's cousins and aunts. It is a tradition we hope to continue for years to come.

Chantel went above and beyond getting the group organized and got the girls shirts made so that they wouldn't be left out. They looked great!

Mike ran the whole 5k I was so proud of him, but he waited for us to go and cross the finish line.

After the race we came back to our house to celebrate Polly's birthday. Lily was so excited that when we brought the cake over she blew out the candle for her grandmama.
