Aunt Pauline and Louise finally made it down to meet Iris this week, she was all smiles for them. Lily loved her visit and the purse they gave her, taking it out with her later that day.
Tummy time with help of big sister to show her what to do... I love that sweet face looking out at me and the big sister who loves her so much.
Lily showing me how she really feels when I needed to feed Iris and she wanted us to keep dancing. It is so hard to say no when she is soo cute even when she is throwing a tantrum.
Building blocks are a new favorite during playtime. Lily is getting really good at stacking them high. She also loves putting them all back in (color side up) dumping them out and putting them back in again.
Wednesday Lily went to her room for a nap wearing her jeans and a pink shirt I could hear her up and about so I went to check on her only to find Lily wearing this with no diaper on. A little while later she was wandering around naked and fell asleep that way. I had to go in and put a diaper on her while she was curled up face down on her bed.
Thursday night we stopped in Sackville to help Lisa and the girls move into their new apartment. Lily had fun playing with them and Loved Bianca's little couch. While I helped Lisa arrange things Mike keep the kids entertained which they seemed to like.
Thursday night we stayed over at Grandmama and Grandpapa's house in the morning Lily helped Grandmama cook breakfast and get food ready for the egg hunt. After breakfast the presents that the "Easter Bunny" left at their house were opened. Lily Loved her umbrella and danced around with it. The thing she loved the most though was her golf clubs she played with them the majority of our time at their house. Iris was super excited about Easter this year giving everyone lots of big smiles. Mike you can see was really excited about our new hand vacuum which we have used a few times already.
Our Family Easter Picture for 2013
The Easter bunny brought Iris almost the exact same bib Lily got from him.
Mike's cousins Tracey and Michelle did a fabulous job organizing the Easter egg hunt for the kids this year, I have to say I am in awe of the planning they did while having two kids to take care of as well. To kick of the fun all the kids were given a bag to color that they used to collect their eggs in. Lily of course took to task with her normal serious coloring face.
On the hunt for eggs... At first Lily wasn't 100% sure what she was supposed to do then she caught on and had a great time. Her big cousin Larissa came and helped her find some of her eggs that were tricky to see. When we walked around the house by the cows Lily kept looking for eggs then turning and saying "hi moo" and going back to searching, she did this about 4 or 5 times it was so cute.
One of the treats in the Easter eggs and bags were bubbles, Lily had a blast playing with Liam blowing bubbles. I am pretty sure she swallowed as much bubble juice as she used to blow bubbles. Although Lily did finally learn how to blow a bubble.
Painting Easter eggs is serious business
more family fun at the egg hunt
Friday night jam session Lily started out playing the maracas with Grandmama then Grandpapa broke out the guitar to play along. Lily then found the harmonica and had a blast playing it, she would even push it along her mouth to play a whole range of notes. Mike was upstairs and Lily went to the bottom of them and called for him to come down and play a maraca and when Grandpapa stopped playing the guitar she asked him to keep playing.
Lily enjoyed the sunshine on the back deck and called to the birds, cows and ducks to see if they would come to her.
This is a picture of the picture so not the best quality but this was the picture we got when we went and visited the Easter bunny. Lily was not sure what to make of him this year but at least she didn't cry.

I can't get enough of my sleeping girls, they are so precious when they sleep...
Sunday with the sun shining and the temperature going up, we set out for the park I found on a walk last week. Lily had a great time playing and running around. I am so glad I found it, there is also a picnic area and some trails to walk on that we will check out another day.
On our way back from the park we caught a first glance of spring.
Lily last year at Easter so much change in one year, where did my baby go?
More pictures from this week.
*note we were too tired from visiting Saturday night to clean up for the Easter Bunny so he came Monday morning and the pictures from that will be in next weeks post.
