I can't believe how big Iris is getting so fast, now when we lay her down on her play mat she can get herself turned around. She is quite the wiggleworm already. Iris is already 10 weeks and it seems time is flying by so much fast with her than it did with Lily.
Lily always helps get little sister up from her naps and Iris has started to really respond to Lily as you can see with her big smile. Also you can see how she wigglewormed herself down the boppy pillow during her sleep.
Lily once again having an important phone conversation I think this time she was talking to daddy.
Lily taking pictures with my phone, and saying I (Iris) cheese and cuddling on the playmat.
Tuesday night was our first night of operation lose the sucky (soother) Lily as expected did not take it well. The poor girl kept crying "mommy daddy help help" and say "oh no oh no", her sucky also got may kisses to make it feel better. I had taken the scissors and cut it in two so she could have it and it would not suck which was supposed to help but I am not sure it did. These pictures where taken at 10:30 pm and it took a little while longer to get her to sleep. Things have been getting better slowly but surely.
Lily is obsessed with Iris's swing and is continually climbing on it and in it.
The weather finally got nice so after going to playgroup Wednesday we stayed outside and enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful weather. Lily loved the fact she got to take her jacket it off. She looks so big in these pictures my little girl isn't so little anymore.
I love the sass in this picture.
We all went for a walk when Mike came home from work to enjoy the sun again. Lily has started wanting to walk and is great at holding our hands and walking beside us. We have started to walk up to the school and picking Mike up at the end of the day, Lily does great walking all the way up and back from the school.
As you can see from these pictures Lily was loving running around outside and playing with Halle.
Lily grabbed a couple of blankets from Iris's room to keep them cosy while playing, she was so gentle trying to get Iris`s blanket just right on her.
While Mike and I watched some tv Lily decided she needed to organize her crayons. She would go grab a sandwich bag put one crayon in, come place it on the coffee table and then head back to do it again. It was so cute to see her need to place the bags perfectly on the table.
Lily loves this wooden elephant she can pull around the house and frequently brings it to bed to cuddle before falling asleep.
My first load of washed cloth diapers, I have to say I am loving them.
Sleepy girl
Iris just saying `Hi`
Mike and Lily made pancakes on Saturday morning which was a nice treat. They had blueberry pancakes
Lily wanted to try just some batter.
Playtime
Lily loves making tents to play in.
So I made a tent with the playmat which Lily love and Iris was not so much of a fan of.
Lily has just started getting into dressing up and doing her hair, as always she wants Iris to play too. She got the bracelet on easy enough but had a hard time getting the clips and headbands in Iris`s hair.
Ready to head outside.
Play time at the park, Lily loves the park so much. Running, sliding and climbing are soo much fun.
Lily wanted to drive the car herself and did not want daddy`s help at all, she kept turning around and saying `no`. Mike though his way was better which of course included racecar sounds.
Lily loves the swings but as always wants to be the big girl and needs to try the big swing instead of just the baby swing.
Contemplating if she can do it on her own or not.
I am not sure what it is about this picture but I love it. The way her hair is trailing behind her as she runs off to the other park of the playground.
Lily did not want to get into the bath so I decided to give Iris a bath instead and of course Lily got in to help, washing her sisters hair, hands and belly. All the while sitting in a bathtub that was filling up with water she ended up having a bath but kept her shirt on and getting it soaked.
In true toddler fashion Lily decided she wanted to pour the milk herself or she was going to have a super meltdown. Which ended up with her drinking it straight from the jug.
