It's a Sweet Life: A big week

Monday Lily and I got down to work to finish off the Valentine presents Lily had made for certain people, she had a blast doing so but I will post pictures of that next week since I don't want to ruin the surprise for their recipients. Then we started working on Daddy's birthday present. Tuesday we had another busy day making daddy his birthday cake and finishing off his present. Lily had so much fun wrapping his present it was funny, although she may have used too much tape.

Wednesday we had a doctor's appointment to talk about induction for Iris so, Tuesday night we made Mike's birthday dinner and gave him his presents since we were going to have dinner at Polly and Jamie's on Wednesday night. I am not sure if it was intuition or what but things worked out since I went into labor later Tuesday night. Polly and Jamie met us at the hospital to take Lily and Halle for us.

Miss Iris Catherine Sweetman finally arrived at 7:18 pm on Feburary 6th as a birthday present for her daddy. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 21 inches long.

At home at last..

Mike finally pulled out his daddy daughter date book and colored a welcome home sign for Iris, only to find out it wasn't one the the actual dates so we made a new entry for their book.

Mike and Lily ventured out into the storm to make a snowman while it was calm. The snow was so deep and not right for building a snowman so they settled on a ground version.
